Can I buy domain for the hosting purchased from another concern?
Yes, you can buy domain for the hosting plan which is hosted with another service provider. It is not necessary to buy both 'domain and hosting' from the same service provider. You can buy these two services separately from different concerns.
After you purchase domain from the domain service provider, you must update the Name Servers in the domain control panel. Note that you must update the name servers provided by your 'Hosting Service Provider'. After updating name servers, the domain propagation process will be completed in around 48 hours.
