Can I make home, index or default as my default homepage?
To set the default homepage do as mentioned below.
Step 1: Login to your plesk account.
Step 2: Now click the Websites & Domains menu in homepage.
Step 3: Click the Show Advanced Operations link at the bottom of the page. 
Step 4: Then click the Virtual Directories menu.
Step 5: In the new page, click the Manage link of the respective domain name, to which you wish to set the default home page.
Step 6: Now click the Directory Properties menu under the 'Tools' category.
Step 7: In new page, under the title Documents, set the extensions' which you like to be as your default homepage.
Step 8: Finally, click the OK button after setting the default extension.
