How to start and stop the Oracle?
Follow the below steps to start or stop the Oracle.
Step 1: Open 'Terminal or Putty or Console'.
Step 2: Then login to the 'Server' using SSH.
Step 3: To start the oracle, enter the below mentioned command.
/etc/init.d/oracle-xe start
Step 4: To stop oracle enter the below mentioned command.
/etc/init.d/oracle-xe stop
