How to send mail with SMTP authentication in wordpress ?

WP Mail SMTP plugin reconfigures the wp_mail() function to use SMTP instead of mail() function in server. Do click below direct click for download WP Mail SMTP plugin.

Upload plugin and install it in your wordpress and Once complete installation, click Activate Plugin to activate it.

Configure below settings in SMTP

  • In dashboard Click Settings--->Email

  • Specify the from name and email address for outgoing email.

  • Choose Send all WordPress emails via SMTP.

  • Specify an SMTP host as localhost (or) domain name (or) your server ip

  • Specify an SMTP port as 25

  • Choose

  • Choose Use SMTP authentication

  • Specify an SMTP username and password. (User name and password is your domain email address and its password). If you need to test mail settings, Type an email address in Sent a Test Email section and then click Send Test to check test email.


Note : In contact form mail settings, you need to menstion From mail id as your domain mail id which you configured in SMTP settings and To mail id can be anymail id. Mail which sending from your contact form will receive in your To mail addresss.
