Is it necessary to update A record after updating MX record?
'MX record' and 'A record' both are completely independent from each other. So, it is not always necessary to update the A record whenever you update the MX record. But, if you are updating your DNS to point to a completely different DNS server then it is better to update both the records to overcome the data loss.
