Flash Media Server for Live Stream Hosting

FMS (Flash Media Server) is a media server from Adobe Systems which helps to stream live video and audio files. It is also used for Real Time Communication - as a chat room or as a multiplayer games.

The server is built on ActionScript 1, an ECMAScript based scripting language. It supports live streaming of FLV and H.264 formats and on-demand of FLV, MP3, AAC, LC-AAC, HE-AAC and Speex.

Apart from live and on-demand streaming of files, the server can also record H.264/AAC to FLV container and MPEG-4.
